Product Description

Foley is the reproduction of everyday sound effects that are added to film, video and other media in post-production to enhance audio quality. These reproduced sounds can be anything from the swishing of clothing and footsteps to squeaky doors and breaking glass.

Our sound experience taster sessions introduce students to the world of the Foley Artist and shows how to create sounds and effects for film using everyday items. The students will use physical props to create their own effects as well as learn industry standard techniques to improve the quality of the audio they produce.

This experience can also be integrated as part of a larger project involving film, animation or design and can be used to enhance a student’s digital portfolio.
